Christian Sexton

Christian Sexton, Partner- Acquisitions and Development of The Fortus Group, is responsible for overseeing new development and joint-venture opportunities consistent with the strategic direction of the firm.  By procuring quality opportunities and facilitating the development teams, Christian’s team prides itself on the ability to see the big picture followed through to completion.  Christian’s experience in real estate analysis, investment, and development, play a key role in charting the future strategic direction of the firm.

A graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Christian has a well versed background in the real estate industry.  Prior to joining the Fortus Group, he was employed with two privately owned Midwest developers where he participated in various capacities in over $100 million of affordable multifamily and commercial developments.  Mr. Sexton transitioned his career in to real estate development after being employed as a Senior Accountant with a nationally recognized accounting and consulting firm.  In this role, he specialized in consulting services related to multifamily housing, economic development, and real estate investment.
